Ecoweave is a one-person business. I collect as little information as I can get away with, use it only to make and send your order, and never sell it to anyone.

Who I am

Ecoweave (ecoweave.co.uk) is run by Victoria Vivian, a sole trader based in Bridgend, South Wales, UK. I am the data controller for any personal information collected through this site. A full business address is available on request.

You can contact me at vicky@ecoweave.co.uk.

What information I collect

When you place an order or email me, I may hold:

A phone number isn't something I ask for, but one is sometimes passed to me along with an order. Where that happens I use it only for delivery, by giving it to the courier so they can send you tracking updates or get hold of you if they can't find the address.

Payments are handled entirely by PayPal. Your card details are entered on PayPal's own site, never on this one. I never see or store them. PayPal processes your data as a controller in its own right, so its privacy statement also applies when you pay.

Why I collect it, and my lawful basis

I use your information only to:

I do not send marketing emails. I do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone except those who need it to get your parcel to you, such as Royal Mail or a courier, and PayPal for the payment itself.

How long I keep it

Order and correspondence records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet HMRC record-keeping requirements, which is six years from the end of the relevant tax year. After that they are deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

To do any of these, email me at vicky@ecoweave.co.uk. I'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies and does not track you. There is no analytics software and there are no advertising or social media trackers on this site.

If you go on to pay through PayPal, PayPal will set its own cookies on its own website. That's outside my control and covered by PayPal's privacy statement.

Where your data is held

Order emails and records are held in the UK and EU. Where a service I use stores data outside the UK, it does so under the safeguards required by UK data protection law.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
